Super Mario Kart Horizons

I don't really do commissions these days, but this has been in the plans for so long that as soon as I got the time to properly enjoy the process it was a no-brainer.

A friend of mine had been working on a Super Mario Kart mod for over 10 years and he wanted me to work on the cover, so what better rendition than taking the original composition and blending it with the horizons concept of the mod. US and European versions have slightly different warm colors, but other than that both have the same comic texture and intentional brush strokes I've come to adopt as a personal style in the last couple of years.
